    The Pre-hospital Emergency Department of Liaocheng People's Hospital was established in January 1997. It is an emergency medical service department which integrates the functions of medical first aid, disaster rescue, medical security, critical care and transshipment. As the city's emergency rescue center, our hospital continuously strengthens the construction of pre-hospital first aid department. There are 35 personnel, including one vice-director physician, one chief nurse, five chief physicians and three chief nurses. It is the largest pre-hospital first aid team in Liaocheng and its surrounding areas. It provides high-quality, efficient and convenient emergency medical services to the people of the city and surrounding areas. Li Fenghua, Director of Pre-hospital Emergency Department, is currently an ambulance trainer of the Red Cross Society of China, a vice-chairman of the Shandong Provincial Emergency Committee, a member of the Emergency Center (Station) Committee of Shandong Hospital Association, a member of the Second Editorial Committee of the Editorial Department of China Industrial Medical Journal, and a member of the Critical Disease Committee of Shandong Pathophysio, member of Shandong Pain Research Association.

    There are 10 guardianship ambulances in the pre-hospital emergency department, all of which are equipped with GPS positioning system and on-board telephone. The department constantly strengthens the construction of first-aid capacity, actively undertakes the city's emergency rescue tasks and medical security tasks for major festivals and public activities, and consciously accepts the command and dispatch of the "120" command center.
